REBECCA SALZHAUER
is an actor and writer from New York City.
She graduated from Yale University with a BA in Theater & Performance Studies and Humanities.

Rebecca loves working in worlds of offbeat comedy, intellectually rich text, tight-knit ensembles, and scrappy theater magic. She grew up with a rotation of Mel Brooks and Stephen Sondheim albums on repeat, which, she's told, explains a lot. As an actor, Rebecca's artistry has one foot rooted in classical training and the other in improv comedy. She's also passionate about using her dramaturgy background to develop new work.

She's recently worked on projects at The Tank, LaMaMa, Symphony Space, Bay Street Theater, and Cape Fear Regional Theatre. Rebecca studied classical acting at the British American Drama Academy's Midsummer in Oxford Program and is a proud alum of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals.

As a writer, Rebecca has been published in The Forward, The New Haven Independent, and HowlRound Theatre Commons. She was a fellow at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Critics Institute. She's also a co-creator of the web series, i'm so happy for you!!!!!
