REBECCA SALZHAUER
is an actor and writer from New York City.
She graduated from Yale University with a BA in Theater & Performance Studies and Humanities.
Rebecca loves offbeat comedies, rich texts, tight-knit ensembles, and theater magic. She grew up on Mel Brooks and Sondheim albums, which, apparently, explains a lot. As an actor, Rebecca is equally at home with improv comedy and classical work. She loves using her dramaturgy background to help develop new work.
She's recently worked on projects at The Tank, LaMaMa, Symphony Space, Bay Street Theater, and the Shakespeare Academy at Stratford. Rebecca studied classical acting at the British American Drama Academy's Midsummer in Oxford Program and is an alum of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals.
Her writing has been published in The Forward, The New Haven Independent, and HowlRound Theatre Commons. She's also a co-creator of the upcoming web series, i'm so happy for you!!!!!
