As a journalist, Rebecca primarily covers culture and religion, and she's interested in examining intersections of theater and politics. Her work often weaves reporting with cultural criticism and a strong first-person narrative. ​​​​Her arts reporting and essays have been published in The Forward, The New Haven Independent, Alma, and HowlRound Theatre Commons, among other publications. Rebecca is a Yale Journalism Scholar and a fellow of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Critics Institute.

Rebecca also co-wrote a web series with Ihea Inyama and Charlotte Polk and is working on a play. She also writes a newsletter about art-making with a dash of cultural criticism, which you, too, can get in your inbox through Substack.
